James has directed iconic, award-winning videos for ALABAMA SHAKES, COLDPLAY, NORAH JONES, OK Go & RADIOHEAD amongst many others. The video for Radiohead's "House of Cards" continues to be screened in contemporary art museums around the world.
In 2019 James was commissioned by RÜFÜS DU SOL to create a 360º film for the song "Underwater" which screened at HP's Antarctic Dome at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, Indio, CA, where it played over two consecutive weekends to an estimated 100,000 people.
James has directed commercials for the most prestigious brands, including AMERICAN EXPRESS, AT&T, BANK OF AMERICA, BMW, FORD, IBM, MERCEDES BENZ, NIKE & VERIZON. His work for GRAMMYS® feat. Ella Mai & his NIKE commercial feat. Didier Drogba were both shortlisted for Cannes Lions.
